Triton Motorsports' floating disc brake rotors bring true two-piece rotor construction to the Mercedes-AMG GT (C192) — a 6061-T6 billet aluminum hat paired with a separate high carbon iron alloy disc, built as a direct replacement for the factory setup with no modification required.

The floating design allows the disc to move independently of the hat as temperatures rise, reducing stress on the braking system and preventing the warping a fixed rotor is prone to under sustained heat. Built for a car engineered around track capability, that means more consistent, fade-resistant braking whether you're driving it hard on the street or pushing it on track.

Key Features:

  • Independent movement between disc and hat prevents the warping a fused one-piece rotor develops under repeated hard track use
  • The iron alloy disc keeps dissipating heat rather than fading through sustained hard braking
  • A 6061-T6 aluminum hat sheds mass versus the factory rotor, aiding this car's quick direction changes
  • A factory-fit swap — same hub, same caliper, nothing else required
  • Stays true under heat, keeping pad wear even across the disc face
