Triton Motorsports' floating disc brake rotors bring true two-piece rotor construction to the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk — a billet aluminum hat paired with a separate high carbon iron alloy disc ring, built as a direct replacement for the factory setup with no modification required.
The floating design allows the disc ring to move independently of the hat as temperatures rise, reducing heat transfer and thermal distortion that a fixed one-piece rotor can't dissipate as effectively.
