The S63 twin-turbo V8 in the F10 M5 and F13 M6 puts out serious heat under hard use, and Triton Motorsports' floating disc brake rotors are built to handle it. Each rotor pairs a 6061-T6 billet aluminum hat with a separate G3500 high carbon iron alloy disc — two pieces instead of one, installed as a direct replacement for the factory setup with no modification required.
Because the disc isn't bonded to the hat, it can expand and contract on its own as temperatures climb instead of fighting against the aluminum around it. That independence is what keeps a fixed rotor from warping under sustained heat — exactly the scenario a 560+ horsepower M car creates on a spirited drive or a track day.
