Congratulation on your purchase of Triton Motorsports' Carbon Ceramic Brakes.

Please find a safe stretch of road to perform the following steps.

Triton Motorsports' Carbon Ceramic Brake Rotor
Triton Carbon Ceramic Disc Brake Rotors

Breaking-In

This step is all about creating a perfect contact pattern between the rotor and brake

pad surface.

Perform 10 brake applications with low pressure and low temperature from 90MPH

to approximately 50 MPH. Distance between each brake application approximately

1/2mi.

Heating-up

This step is performed in order to build some core heat in the whole brake system.

Perform a sequence of 5 brake applications with medium to high pressure from 90

MPH to approximately 30 MPH with maximum acceleration between the stops.

After the last brake application, drive to cool down for 3-5 minutes with the speed

preferably not higher than 60MPH.

*Try not to stop fully or park the car during this step.

Recovery braking

Perform 3 to 5 brake applications with low pressure from 90 MPH to approximately

50 MPH. Distance between each brake application approximately 1/2mi.

Cool Down

Drive for 3-5 miles at speeds less than 65mph, and in a manner that would not

require any hard brake applications. Let the air cool the discs and the pads down

naturally.
